We will not ride into
Mexico this year because of the mounting security problems that are
occurring along the border. For the second time in Three Flags Classic
history, we have decided to change the ride to eliminate Mexico. This decision is not taken lightly. All of us are long-term TFC riders and understand the traditions of this event. We, like you, look forward to the 'Three' in Three Flags Classic. But our first priority is the safety of the riders. It is for this reason that we made a unanimous decision to move the finish from Puerto Penasco to the Double Tree in Tucson. The route will start in Regina with check-points in Deadwood, South Dakota; Craig, Colorado; Taos, New Mexico; Springerville, Arizona; and Nogales, Arizona. The room rates in Tucson will be the same as they were in Puerto Penasco. If you made a reservation in Puerto Penasco it has already been moved to the Double Tree. Letters have been sent to all registered riders. Check the Three Flags Classic Forum and this website for additional information. SCMA Executive Board and Three Flags Classic Committee |
